The minimum recommended overtravel in both trip and reset directions is 0.015 in. (0.38 mm) on adjustable actuator switches. Nonadjustable actuator snap switches have a total maximum travel differential limit of plus 0.030 in. (0.76 mm). Most snap switches are UL component recognized and CSA certified.
