The cold shrink splice body is a one-piece molded design made of specially formulated silicone rubbers, while the jacketing is made of EPDM rubber for its special physical properties. Each splice is high-voltage production tested to ensure reliability. Kits can be ordered with connectors packed in the kit or the kit and connector can be ordered as separate items.
