Special Features Features: Seamless uninsulated compression heavy duty ring tongue terminal. HYLUG Type YAV is a seamless, heavy duty uninsulated compression ring tongue terminal made from pure electrolytic copper tubing for use on copper commercial (Code) cable, Type AN aircraft cable and extra flexible conductors. Its seamless design also accommodates solid conductors. Double thick tongue provides a strong connector for demanding applications requiring high reliability. Applications include: industrials, hospitals, electric utilities, aircraft, shipboard and marine, steel mills, computers, mining equipment and other equipment subject to vibration. HYLUG Type YAV provides maximum conductivity, low resistance and excellent ductility. Seamless tubular crimp barrel has no seams to split for a very high quality electrical connection. Extra copper material assures the compression connector operates cooler than the conductors it connects. Internally bevelled barrel provides easy cable entry, especially for flexible conductors. Inspection hole provides visual check for proper conductor insertion. Nickel plating available, add -NK suffix.
