Elco EL99ICA Air-Tite® IC Modern 4 Inch Housing with Thermal Protector

Detailed Description: Elco Air-Tite® Housing with thermal protector is ideal for use in insulated ceilings and features a double wall aluminum construction for enhanced durability. It comes with a ceiling opening of 4-1/4 inches. Adjustable socket bracket provides correct lamp positioning and allows use of varying lamp types as well as sizes. Housing comes with a lamp that has a voltage rating of 120 Volts and power rating of 50 Watts. It is pre-wired and has 1/2-Inch, 3/4-Inch knockouts with access plates that are removable.

Housing has a stamped galvanized steel frame that is painted for corrosion-resistance and allows easier mounting. It can be adjusted to accommodate 1-1/4 Inch ceiling thickness and is designed to provide direct contact with ceiling insulation. Bar hangers can be repositioned to 90 deg and span 24-Inch joists. Housing measures 8-5/8 Inch x 5-7/8 Inch x 5-1/2 Inch. It includes an integral thermal protector that guards against overlamping. Housing is UL listed and complies with California Title 24, IECC and Washington state energy code requirements.
