Detailed Description: Sylvania Quicktronic® PROStart® Rapid start electronic fluorescent ballast has a voltage rating of 347 - 480 Volts. Ballast features programmed starting method that improves lamp life. It operates at high power factor and has low harmonic distortion. Ballast incorporates end of lamp life protection circuitry that provides safety by removing power to the lamp and prevents false shutdown. It measures 16.730 Inch x 1.180 Inch and has a temperature rating of 90 deg C.

Ballast is specifically designed to use in high bay industries where it is subjected to higher ambient temperatures. It has a ambient temperature rating of 35 deg C. It offers push in connectors for easy wiring and uses 18 AWG solid copper wire. It is weightless and has a slim design. Ballast operates at a frequency greater than 42 kilo-Hz to reduce interference with infrared control systems.

Ballast is ideal for use in industrial high bay, commercial, institution and hospitality lighting. A-rated ballast has normal ballast factor. It features auto reset when the lamps are replaced thus saving installation time. Ballast is compatible with T5 lamps and can operate two lamps of power rating 54 Watts.
