Detailed Description:
FLIR (Extech) AC Circuit identifier combines non-contact voltage detection technique and radio frequency transmission technology to identify mid-run AC wiring, circuit breakers, switched lines, AC outlets and light fixtures. Transmitter signals the user at the breaker panel with LED and audible alerts on the receiver. Transmitter operates at frequency of 914 MHz. The alerts stops when the correct circuit breaker is switched and work can then be performed safely. It includes a clamp style probe that helps the device to operate in hard to reach area. It is powered by four AAA batteries.
