Detailed Description: Elco EL1499 4-Inch Low voltage miniature universal housing comes with a ceiling opening of 4-1/4 inches for convenience. It is suitable for MR16 lamp that has voltage rating of 12 Volts and a power rating of 50 Watts. Universal housing has integral thermal protector guards to avoid improper lamping. Pre-wired junction box is provided with removable access plates and 1/2-Inch, 3/4-Inch knockouts for convenience. Housing can accommodate eight 12 AWG branch circuit conductors. Captive bar hangers comprise 24-Inch joists and can be repositioned to 90 deg. It can be adjusted to 3/4 inches to accommodate ceilings of various thicknesses. It measures 8-1/2 Inch x 5-7/8 Inch x 5-1/2 Inch. Universal housing is UL listed.
