Detailed Description: 3M Unishield® Cold shrink shield adapter kit in black color includes tubular sleeve and three base mastic sealing strips that are made of rubber for added durability/strength. Kit has a tensile strength of 1400 psi and is apt for providing 750% ultimate elongation. It is resistant to ozone/ultraviolet light, acids/alkalis and aims in providing tight seals to retain resiliency/pressure for prolonged service. It offers efficient tear resistance of 150 psi with a 300% stretching of modulus 480 psi. It has a dielectric strength of 365 Volts-mil and includes a force spring for perfect three-conductor installation. It has a current rating of 600 Amps. Kit accommodates wide range of conductor wires that includes 500 - 1000 AWG at 5/8 kilo-Volts, 350 - 1000 AWG at 15 kilo-Volts, 350 - 750 AWG at 25 kilo-Volts and 2/0 - 350 AWG at 35 kilo-Volts. It has a minimal seal diameter of size 1.27 inches and maximum installed diameter of size 2.17 inches. Adapter kit meets ANSI standards.
