Detailed Description: 3M Scotch-Seal™ 2229 Series Sealing and insulating tape in black color is made of rubber and has a thickness of 125 mil. It can be applied easily over irregular surfaces for excellent moisture resistance. It measures 10 ft x 1 Inch and is 125-mil thick. It can withstand temperature of 90 deg C. Tape has a maximum voltage rating of 600 Volts. It offers an excellent adhesion and sealing characteristics to metals, rubbers, synthetic cable insulations and jackets. Tape is stable over a wide range of temperatures while maintaining its sealing properties. It is conformable and moldable for easy applications over irregular surfaces. Tape is compatible with most semi-con jacketing materials. It exhibits self-healing characteristics after being punctured or cut. Chemical resistant tape retains its flexibility at low temperatures resulting in ease of application and continuous performance at reduced temperatures. Tape meets RoHS compliant.
