Detailed Description: Thomas & Betts XD Expansion/deflection coupling has a trade size of 2 inches and is made of ductile cast iron in zinc plated finish for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. It is suitable to join two conduits in indoor/outdoor/direct buried or embedded in concrete applications requiring movement in either direction. It offers flexible waterproof connection for the applications requiring axial or parallel movements of up to 3/4 Inch and angular movements of up to 30 deg from normal position.

Coupling has sturdy stainless steel inner sleeve with smooth inner diameter to provide easy wire pulling and to safeguard wire insulation from damage. It is engineered with NPT threaded, dual-layer hubs that fit standard threaded rigid metal conduit. It has completely enclosed/secured copper ground mounting plates and copper-braid internal grounding bonding jumper to protect against vandalism and theft. Coupling comes with an Erickson® type conduit union for quicker, convenient installation with minimal labor costs.

Coupling features rugged, water-resistant neoprene outer jacket and a stainless steel tamper-resistant strap making it a perfect choice for use in harsh environments. It can be used in bridges, tunnels, inter-building walkways, docks/piers and wastewater/water treatment facilities. It measures 9-3/4 Inch x 4-11/16 Inch. It is suitable for wet locations. Coupling is UL listed, CSA certified, NEMA 4 rated and NEC compliant.
