Detailed Description: Schneider Electric / Square D 3-Pole Heavy-duty single throw safety switch has a non-fusible disconnect device for quick-make and quick-break operating mechanisms. It has a current rating of 1200 Amps and voltage rating of 600 VAC/VDC. Switch has NEMA 3R/12 enclosure made of sturdy galvannealed steel. It accommodates 3/0 - 750 AWG/kcmil copper or aluminum conductors. Switch is suitable for commercial and industrial applications, where optimum performance and service continuity is essential. It offers short-circuit current protection at up to 200 kilo-Amps.

Switch is provided with lugs for electrical connection. It has a dual cover interlock and a color-coded ON - OFF indicator handle for convenience. Switch has cover padlock hasp and handle lock-off provision to ensure secure multiple padlocks. It is surface mountable. When used either with factory-installed solid neutral assembly or a field-installed equipment grounding kit, it can be used as a service equipment. Switch has spring reinforced plated copper fuse clips and tangential combination knockouts for easy installation. Switch is UL listed.
