Detailed Description: Schneider Electric / Square D 2-Pole Closed tank float switch has cast aluminum enclosure. The switch with power circuit, has motor power rating of 1.5 kilo-Watts/2 hp at 115 VAC and 2.2 kilo-Watts/3 hp at 230 VAC for 1 phase. It has 2 NC snap action DPST-DB form YY contact configuration. It has motor power rating of 2.2 kilo-Watts/3 hp at 115 VAC, 3.7 kilo-Watts/5 hp at 230 VAC, 0.75 kilo-Watt/1 hp at 460 VAC and 0.75 kilo-Watt/1 hp at 475 VAC for 3 phases. The switch has motor power rating of 0.18 kilo-Watt/0.25 hp at 32 VDC, 0.37 kilo-Watt/0.5 hp at 115 VDC and 0.37 kilo-Watt/0.5 hp at 230 VDC.

This flange mountable switch has three knock-outs for 1/2-Inch conduit. It has insulation voltage rating of 575 Volts. It has four screw-clamp terminals connection that accommodates wire of size 10 AWG. Switch operates at a temperature of -22 to 220 degree Fahrenheit. It easily controls fluids like fresh/sea water, hydraulic oils and corrosive fluids at specific gravity of 0.85-Inch or higher.
