3M FD150 Scotch® Caulk Firestop Sealant; 4.5 gal Pail, Red

Detailed Description: 3M Scotch® Fire barrier sealant in red color, has a capacity of 4.5 gal and prevents the spread of fire, smoke and noxious gas. Sealant is made of latex-based elastomer that cures upon exposure to the atmosphere to form a monolithic flexible firestop seal. It provides excellent adhesion to a full range of construction substrates, acts as an acoustic barrier by minimizing noise transfer and creates a smoke seal.

Sealant is halogen-free, sag-resistant and re-enterable/repairable. It is ideal for use on metallic pipe, non-metallic pipe, insulated pipe, conduit, power and communication cables, combos, insulated pipe/HVAC duct penetrations. Fire barrier sealant meets the intent of LEED® VOC environmental regulations, international building code and other key life safety building code requirements.
