Detailed Description:
Lutron EcoSystem® EcoSystem Digital ballast provides high-performance dimming for any compact fluorescent application, including lighting control within an EcoSystem. It is compatible with three wire fluorescent controls and EcoSystem digital controls. Programmed rapid start design ensures full-rated lamp life while dimming and cycling. It turns on to any dimmed level without flashing to full brightness. It features low harmonic distortion throughout the entire dimming range. It does not interfere with infrared device. Ballast has inrush current limiting circuitry that eliminates circuit breaker tripping, switch arcing and relay failure. It features ultra-quiet operation and is protected from miswiring of any input power to control lead/from lamp leads to each other/ ground.
Ballast has end-of-lamp-life protection circuitry that ensures safe operation throughout entire lamp life and non-volatile memory that retrieves all ballast settings after power failure. It measures 4-9/10 Inch x 3 Inch x 1 Inch. It operates at a voltage of 120/220 - 240/277 Volts at a frequency of 50/60 Hz. It offers 100% to 5% flicker-free dimming, providing both energy savings and lighting flexibility. Ballast and fixture must be grounded for proper dimming. It has a constant ± 2% light output variation for a line voltage variation of ± 10%. It has a minimum power factor of 0.95. It has a total harmonic distortion that is less than 10%. It is inaudible in a 27 dB ambient. Ballast has a maximum inrush current of 3 Amps at 277 Volts to 7 Amps at 120 Volts. It has a standby power that is less than 1 Watt.
The 4-Pin triple-tube ballast has a current rating of 0.29/0.12/0.14/0.15 Amp and an input power that is rated at 33.8/33.0/33.6/33.2 Watts. The 4-Pin quad-tube/triple tube has a current rating of 0.22/0.12/0.11/0.10 Amps and has an input power that is rated at 26.4/26.8/26.9/27.0 Watts. It has a minimum lamp starting temperature of 10 deg C and maximum ballast case temperature is 75 deg C. It has a relative non-condensing humidity that is less than 90%. It is class A sound rated.
