Detailed Description: King Electrical 2-Pole 1-Phase Freeze protection thermostat is enclosed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure with cover and screws for easy mounting onto the wall. It has 1 Inch x 3/4 Inch entry at the bottom right for NEC Class 2 sensor connections, 3 Inch x 1-1/16 Inch entries at the bottom left/left for supply/load power and at right for NEC Class 2 alarm relay connections. Thermostat features an isolated SPDT 1-Amps Class 2 contact alarm relay and alarms indicate "no power, ground fault condition, GFEP function test failure, bad or missing thermistor". It works with a supply voltage of 120/208/240/277 Volts that is automatically selected and has two Form A DPST contacts. It is rated at maximum of 277 VAC and 30 Amps.

Thermostat has a set point of 40 deg F and 175 deg F with a dead band of 2 deg F. It includes a thermistor network sensor, up to 2000-ft lead using 12-AWG two-wire jacketed cable and up to 500-ft lead using 18-AWG two-wire jacketed cable. It has various indicators indicating different status' with a green LED indicating SUPPLY power applied, green flashing LED indicating SUPPLY bad thermistor, yellow LED indicating HEAT call for heat, red LED indicating GFEP ground fault condition, red flashing LED indicating failed GFEP test and a red rapidly flashing LED indicating GFEP test in progress. It is ideal for wet locations.

Thermostat is set at 30 milli-Amps for GFEP and automatic self test is done in two modes. Mode A verifies GFEP function before contactors operate and Mode B verifies GFEP function every 24 hours. It measures 7-7/16 Inch x 4 Inch. It is simple to install and operate. It is provided with 2-Pole contactor switches up to 30 Amps heater loads. It has a TEST/RESET switch on the front panel for manually setting. Enclosure withstands a temperature of -40 to 130 deg F and has a standard temperature sensor rated at -40 to 220 deg F with a high temperature sensor rated at - 40 to 300 deg F. It can be stored at -55 to 75 deg C. Thermostat is cULus listed.
