Detailed Description: Ideal® TightSight® Clamp with trim has tapered jaws of size 1.42 inches with hook tip to hold the clamp securely and reach tight spaces. It has peak mode that displays the peak value of AC Volts or current measurements, max/min mode to capture maximum or minimum values over time, hold button to lock the values during measurement. It has selectable auto OFF mode that turns off after 30 minutes and provides warning on all functions in the presence of voltage. It has an audible indicator to sense the continuity of the device.

Clamp has 3-3/4 digit LCD with 4000 counts for both displays and backlight that turns off after 4.5 minutes. It has 400-hour continuous with alkaline, 200-hour continuous with alkaline, 150-hour continuous with alkaline battery of 9 Volts. It measures 3.100 Inch x 1.800 Inch x 8.700 Inch. Clamp can measure true RMS AC current of 400/600 Amps with 3% + 10 digits accuracy at 60 - 400 Hz and 400/600 Amps with 1.7% + 10 digits accuracy at 50 - 60 Hz, DC current of 400 Amps with 1.5% + 5 digits accuracy and 600 Amps with 2.0% + 5 digits accuracy.

Clamp can measure true RMS AC voltage of 400 milli-Volts with 1.2% + 8 digits accuracy at 50 - 60 Hz, 4/40/400 Volts with 1.2% + 8 digits accuracy at 50 - 500 Hz, 750 Volts with 1.5% + 8 digits at 50 - 500 Hz, DC voltage of 400 milli-Volts/4/40/400/1000 Volts with 0.5% + 2 digits accuracy. It can measure resistance of 400 Ohm/4 kilo-Ohm/40 kilo-Ohm/400 kilo-Ohm with 1.0% + 4 digits accuracy, 4 Mega-Ohm with 9% + 4 digit accuracy, 40 mega-Ohm with 20% + 5 digit accuracy. Clamp meets CAT III/IV requirements.
