Detailed Description: GE Lamps UltraMax™ Low frequency HID ballast features superior square wave low frequency design that maximizes performance and life of ceramic metal halide lamp. Ballast has a flame retarded housing that finds application in low frequency junction box mounting bottom lead with feet electronic HID. It has an ambient temperature rating of -20 to 55 deg C and measures 3.400 Inch x 3.100 Inch. Ballast has a metal can enclosure for durability. It has a power rating of 1 - 20 Watts and multi-voltage technology that handles voltage ranging from 120 to 277 Volts with a line voltage regulation of 10%. It has a remote mounting wire gauge of 18 AWG with a remote mounting distance of 2 m. It features 15% energy savings high efficiency instant start electronic ballast compared to magnetic HID ballasts. Ballast has an excellent color control with GE CMH and 2% line regulation that reduces lamp to lamp color variation with end of lamp life protection.
