Detailed Description: Cooper Crouse-Hinds Conduit hub terminates electrical conduit through the walls of enclosures. It is specially designed for use in food processing plants, breweries, distilleries, chemical plants, sewage disposal plants, paper processing mills and refineries. Hub is made of mechanically galvanized malleable iron. It has a male type threading. It also has a tapered female thread for rigid conduit/IMC. It has an insulated throat to provide a trouble-free pulling surface. Hub includes recessed O-ring gasket to assure safe and rain-tight environmental connections. It is suitable for wet locations. It has a locking screw on the nut that doubles as a grounding screw for safety. It fits standard knockouts. Hub is Class I/Class II/Class III/UL/cUL listed and CSA/NEMA certified.
