Detailed Description: Hubbell Electrical / Burndy Irreversible compression ground rod connector is made of high conductivity copper for durability. Connector features C shaped opening for placing two continuous parallel cables into conductor groove and can be used as a tap connector or as a tap splice connector. It is ideal for direct burial in earth and concrete. It is prefilled with penetrox E oxide Inhibitor and is strip sealed to keep contact surfaces clean. It accommodate tap, stranded run conductor of range 3/0 AWG - 250 kcmil and 1/0 AWG - 250 kcmil respectively. It connects to copper bonded ground rod of diameter 1/2 - 5/8 Inch. It is clearly marked with 997 die index to provide easy identification. Connector is UL/CSA listed and RoHS compliant.
