Detailed Description:
Appleton Powertite® 4-Pole 3-Wire Reverse service clamping ring plug is made of epoxy powder-coated copper free aluminum for corrosion resistance. It provides reverse service operation for generator applications. Plug for easy supplies of power to fixed electrical equipment such as motor generator units/welders/pumps/compressors and cellular relay station. The Grounding style 2 shell and extra pole comes with weatherproof enclosure for rough usage. Polarized plug has a clamping ring that is tightened on to receptacle. Plug is also used for shipping docks/ports and other ship to shore applications. It measures 1.860 Inch diameter x 6 Inch x 3.130 Inch.
The 3-Phase plug accommodates a wire size of 10 - 6 AWG/10 - 8 AWG. It operates at a temperature of -40 to 107 deg C. Plug has a current rating of 30 Amps. It has locking screw and slot to prevent plug of cable collar from backing off. Plug has copper contact material is used for high thermal and electrical conductivity.
Plug has wire recess diameter of 0.281 Inch. Plug has a voltage rating of 250 VDC and 600 VAC at 50 - 400 Hz. Plug has a cable outer diameter of 0.500 - 1.250 inches. Plug is UL/CSA/NEMA certified.
