Detailed Description: 3M Fire barrier wrap strip features one-part, intumescent elastomer to firestop metallic and non-metallic pipes, insulated pipes and cable bundles or as part of a collar assembly. It has a foil on one side for added protection. Strip provides an intumescent firestop and cold smoke seal. It can be cut to fit irregular shapes for versatility. It measures 24 Inch x 2 Inch x 0.250 Inch. Strip is firestop tested up to four hours in accordance with ASTM E 814 (UL 1479) standards.

This intumescent firestop with aluminum foil exterior blocks flame, heat and toxic by-products of combustion. Installers simply wrap the strips around the penetration, secure and seal.
