Flexible inline and tap splices

Flame-retardant compound 2131, self-curing resin bonds to itself and most modern cable jackets and requires no torch or other external heat source

Forms a splice or repair that is abrasion resistant and flame retardant

Semi-flexible compound allows permanent splice to bend with cable for installation, handling, reeling, etc.

Smooth tapered splice profile eliminates cable hang-ups and splice end-lifting

Use with inline compression connectors

Detailed Description: 3M Scotchcast™ 82-F Series Flexible splice Kit is designed for use on unshielded portable power cables. It includes cables that are within the insulation diameter range of 0.80 - 1.20 Inch. The kit is rated up to 5 kilo-Volts for single conductor and up to 1 kilo-Volts for multiple conductors. Kit contains a one-piece removable mold, tape for sealing mold ends, abrasive cloth and Scotchcast 2130 compound in the Unipak container for clean as well as easy handling. It includes splices that are designed for use in weather exposed, direct bury or submerged locations.
