Detailed Description: 3M 5811 Series Industrial loadbreak elbow is a fully shielded and insulated plug-in termination. It is molded using high quality peroxide-cured EPDM insulation. Elbow connects cable to the loadbreak probe. It features aluminum barrel to crimp easily and copper lug that provides a reliable, tight, cool operating connection with the loadbreak probe. Elbow has a current rating of 200 Amps and a voltage rating of 25 kilo-Volts. It is ideal for connecting 25 kilo-Volts underground cable to transformers, switchgear and junctions equipped with loadbreak bushings. Elbow can accommodate 1/0 AWG stranded at 25 kilo-Volts, 2/0 AWG compact/solid wires at 25 kilo-Volts, 250 kcmil compact/solid wires at 25 kilo-Volts, 4/0 AWG stranded at 25 kilo-Volts conductors.

Elbow can be used on tape shield, wire shield, unishield and jacketed concentric neutral types of cables. Elbow has a cable insulation diameter range of 0.850 - 1.100 Inch. It comes with elbow body, coppertop compression connector, tin plated copper loadbreak probe with an ablative arc-follower tip, probe installation tool, silicone lubricant, cold shrink jacketing tube, three mastic strips, ground braid assembly, constant force spring, CC-3 cable cleaning pads, stainless steel reinforced pulling-eye and a capacitive test point. Elbow meets ANSI/IEEE 386 standards.
