Detailed Description: 3M Cold shrink inline splice kit is ideal for 5/8-kilo-Volts cable with 1, 1/0, 2, 2/0, 3/0, 4/0 AWG and 250, 300 kcmil conductor sizes. It has overall jacket diameter of 0.63 - 1.20 Inch. Kit includes three Cold Shrink ™ splice insulators, Scotch ™ 2228 rubber mastic tape, three cleaning pad kits and one instruction sheet. Kit is used in manhole, vault, cable tray, junction box and duct for indoor/outdoor applications.

Kit is used for splicing cable reel ends, cable dig-in repair and cable failure repair. Kit features insulators made of EPDM rubber to provide quick and easy installation. Mastic tape is used to eliminate time consuming penciling of cable insulation.
