The cold shrink QT-II termination is based on specially formulated, track-resistant silicone rubber insulators with built-in Hi-K stress relief

The insulators are pre-stretched around a spiral -wound, plastic core

When the terminator is slipped over a properly prepared cable and the core is removed, the terminator immediately shrinks to the cable's dimensions

The result is a void-free, flexible seal without special tools or torches

Detailed Description: 3M 4-Skirt cold shrink QT-II termination kit includes one Hi-k silicone rubber termination, two Scotch ® silicone rubber tape 70 strips, two mastic seal strips, one pack of silicone grease and one instruction sheet. Kit is ideal for 15-kilo-Volts jacketed concentric neutral cable with 700 - 1500 kcmil conductor sizes. It is also suitable for cables with 1.31 - 2.10-Inch outer diameter insulation and 1.62 - 2.55-Inch outer diameter jacket.

Kit provides easy installation for wide range of indoor and outdoor applications. Kit consists of Hi-K stress control tube that is insulated with molded silicone skirted insulator. Kit includes adequate material required for one termination. It has maximum installed length of 11.25-Inch.
