Tape measures 1000 ft x 6 Inch and is 5 mil thick. It has an aluminum backing that helps to locate underground assets when using a non-ferrous locator. It is designed to precisely locate and help avoid damage to valuable underground utility installations. Tape when installed properly helps prevent catastrophically inaccurate digging when finding electrical lines and communication cables.
