Detailed Description: 3M Fire barrier cast-in device comes in red color for easy identification. It offers resistance to every-day bumps, kicks and hard knocks of the construction process with rugged one-piece design. Device of size 3 inches is designed for use with metal pipes. It attaches directly to flooring deck for secure installation. The easily adjustable height allows concrete thickness from 2-1/2 - 8.000 inches. Fire barrier cast-in device is firestop tested and ASTM E 814 listed.

Instead of drilling holes, installers simply attach the devices directly to floor decking, pour slabs around them and route penetrants after curing. Heights are easily adjustable, and these intumescent devices are rated for up to 3-hour fire protection.
